About Cumann Staire

The Cumann Staire of NUI Galway is a student society dedicated to promoting a love for history and tradition. We are one of the largest societies at Ollscoil na hÉireann, Gaillimh, and organise talks, cultural events, the Aistir conference, and the biggest university ball in Galway — the Arts Ball.

The society is associated with the Irish History Students Association (IHSA) and ISHA International, connecting our members with history students across Ireland and beyond.
